Michael Jarman
Biography
Michael Jarman is an Equity Market Strategist who provides research, analysis and advice and has been used as a City commentator for the BBC, Sky News and CNBC and has written articles for Management Today.He is based in the City of London with H2O Markets where he advises on cash equities but specialises in trading FTSE 100 stocks using macro-top down analysis. His primary objective is to construct risk-weighted equity portfolios for his private clients by trading the short, medium and long term.Michael was born in Watford and initially pursued a career as a professional footballer with spells for Watford, Reading, Luton Town, Stevenage Borough and Crawley Town before deciding to switch to a career in business.He began his career in the City in 2008 at Hoodless Brennan, and soon became authorised and regulated by the FSA as small cap broker at SVS Securities before moving to main market trading on the agency desk in 2009. He was appointed by H2O Markets as Equity Trader to their HNW’s in 2010.Michael is also Head of Group at Berkeley & Bond
He cites that the biggest influence on his life has been his mother, who raised him as a single parent from a young age. She taught him some great virtues in life: honesty, hard work, and loyalty which make him who he is today.Michael lives in Hertfordshire and has a weakness for Poker, particularly Texas Hold Em.
